Spirited fans greeted the Winston-Salem Dash for their clash with the Salem Red Sox.

Dan Bell pitched a gem to lead Salem to victory over the Winston-Salem Dash, 4-1. The victory puts Salem at 17-31.

The Red Sox benefited from an error in the top of the fourth inning. Salem was leading 1-0 when Chris Meyers hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Salem in front, 2-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Meyers.
