The Myrtle Beach Pelicans got a superb performance from pitcher Ty Wall, but the Frederick Keys still won the game, 5-1. Wall threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. The setback makes Myrtle Beach 24-25.

Steve Stone, who is tied for 2nd in the CAR in total bases with 80, helped out the Frederick cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 5 with a double.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Stone told the Frederick Herald.
