Chris Sampson knocked in 3 runs to help Potomac beat Carolina, 5-3. The Nashville, Tennessee native tallied 1 single and 2 home runs. The win puts Potomac at 19-32.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Sampson hit a slider from Shawn Moore for a 2-run home run. The Nationals, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It was bedlam at the end," Sampson said.
