Starting pitcher Ken Harris pitched well enough to help the Potomac Nationals beat the Carolina Mudcats, 5-4. Potomac pitcher Edgardo Souza got the win. He's now 1-2. Shawn Moore was tagged with the loss. Potomac is now 25-33, while Carolina is 28-30.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chad MacIntyre in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Shawn Moore to win the game for Potomac. The home crowd went nuts.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Carolina manager John Cornely.
