Myrtle Beach Pelicans starter Ty Wall turned in a top-notch performance against the Potomac Nationals at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. The result was a win for the Pelicans, 4-2. The loss makes Potomac 25-36.

It could have been a different outcome for Myrtle Beach, had it not been for Ron Crotty, the 23-year old first baseman . Crotty contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Myrtle Beach up, 4-2.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Myrtle Beach manager Jose Lobaton.
