Potomac Nationals right-hander Ken Harris pitched a good game against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium, leading his team to victory, 5-3. Sergio Fernández notched his 9th save in 11 chances. Potomac goes to 26-36, Myrtle Beach to 32-30.

The Nationals got a big at-bat from third baseman Jesús Pérez. For the game, Pérez went 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season gave Potomac a 2-1 lead.
