Starting pitcher Dave Cobb had a solid game. He was a big reason the Winston-Salem Dash throttled the Salem Red Sox, 6-2. Winston-Salem goes to 36-27, Salem to 27-36.

It could have been a different outcome for Winston-Salem, had it not been for Chris Bow, the 23-year old right fielder . Bow contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Winston-Salem up, 4-0.

"It's still just a game," said Bow, "whether you win or lose."
