The Potomac Nationals and Wilmington Blue Rocks provided some drama for the home crowd.

Wilmington Blue Rocks starter Clarence Howell was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Potomac Nationals, 3-2. The defeat makes Potomac 29-40.

Steve Teague drew 1 walk for Wilmington. The 24-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jesús Valdéz. It was his 16th RBI of the season.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Teague told a Wilmington Daily reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
