Hillcats Deal Myrtle Beach 5-1 Defeat
|
The Lynchburg Hillcats picked up a win at Ed Smith Stadium, downing the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 5-1. On the mound for Lynchburg was right-hander Orlando Castro, who played a pivotal role in the win. Castro yielded 1 run over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 6-3. Lynchburg has 3 straight wins, Myrtle Beach 3 straight losses.
