Getting an impressive start from Zander Kelly, Lynchburg beat Frederick by the score of 5-2. Earning the save was Chad Cochrane. He's now cashed in 18 of 22 save opportunities. With the win over Frederick, the Hillcats improved to 39-44.

In the bottom of the fifth, Rhett Osborn delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Lynchburg center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Hillcats in front, 5-2.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Kelly.
