Frederick catcher Jon Ramos helped his team beat the Lynchburg Hillcats, 4-1. Ramos, who is tied for 8th in the CAR in wins with 6, went 3 for 4 for the Keys. Ken Key earned the save, his 4th, for the Keys.

Elton Davis had a direct impact on the outcome. Davis contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Frederick up, 4-1.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Lynchburg manager Nick Markakis.
