Nationals Earn Late 2-1 Win
The Potomac Nationals used a great performance from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Ken Harris to beat the Carolina Mudcats, 2-1, at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. Sergio Fernández recorded the save, his 14th. Potomac is now 36-50.

Jeff Jones went 1-3 for Potomac. The 25-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jerry Peterson. It was his 6th RBI of the season.

"Ken was dictating to their hitters," said Potomac manager Cesar Martin.
