The Carolina Mudcats overcame a good performance by Frederick catcher Joey Bennett to knock off Frederick, 9-6, at Harry Grove Stadium. Bennett went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Beau Carson, who is tied for 8th in the CAR with a .863 OPS, was the winning pitcher.
