Frederick shortstop Jeff Gillespie helped his team beat the Salem Red Sox, 5-4. Gillespie went 3 for 4 for the Keys. Frederick reliever Robby Holloway picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. Dan Gore was saddled with the loss. Nelson Castillo recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 11 for 11.

Gillespie had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-1 fastball from Dan Gore, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Keys a 5-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Gillespie.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Gillespie said.

The Keys bumped their record to 47-43 with this latest triumph.
