Behind a fine performance from Jeff Gillespie, the Frederick Keys knocked off the Salem Red Sox, 7-4. Gillespie went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Keys. Nelson Castillo got the save, his 12th in 12 chances. The win for the Keys lifted their record to 48-43.

Early in the game, Gillespie had a 3-run home run for Frederick. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Keys on top, 3-0.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Gillespie. "And not try to do too much."
