Nájera Pops Two Homers in 11-10 Win for Winston-Salem
The Winston-Salem Dash downed the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 11-10, at New Winston-Salem Ballpark. The Dash were led by Manny Nájera. Nájera hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6. Rory Briggs earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record is now 9-1. The triumph puts Winston-Salem at 56-47 for the season.

Winston-Salem took the lead, 7-6, on Rob Larson's 28th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Larson hit in the bottom of the seventh, made Wilmington pitcher Mike McCoy wince.

"This losing is getting old," said Wilmington manager Ozzie Timmons.
