New Winston-Salem Ballpark hosted a real pitchers' duel.

In a tight tilt between the Winston-Salem Dash and the Potomac Nationals, Luis Manuel Navarro was the deciding factor. The Winston-Salem right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Winston-Salem improves to 57-49 with the win. They lead their division by 4½ games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Rob Larson in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Edgardo Souza to win the game for Winston-Salem. The home crowd went nuts.

"Luis Manuel did a good job mixing and matching," said Winston-Salem manager Brent Metheny.
