Blue Rocks 9-4 Winners Versus Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach got a terrific game from first baseman Ron Crotty. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Wilmington, 9-4. Crotty went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk. Wilmington reliever Johnathan Lowrance picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. Dimitri Nedelec was saddled with the loss. After today's action, Wilmington sits at 54-56; Myrtle Beach slips to 53-57.

Regardless of the outcome, those who showed up at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium enjoyed some exciting Carolina League action.
