Winston-Salem played host to Wilmington at New Winston-Salem Ballpark.

The Winston-Salem Dash beat the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 13-5, at New Winston-Salem Ballpark. The Dash got a fine performance from catcher Curt Craig, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 6. Winston-Salem improves to 62-50 with the win. They lead their division by 8½ games.

With Winston-Salem trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Craig hit a curveball from César García for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Dash ahead, 5-4.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Craig told the Winston-Salem Daily News. "Whatever it takes."
