The first-place Lynchburg Hillcats picked up another win.

The Lynchburg Hillcats picked up a win at Ed Smith Stadium, downing the Frederick Keys, 2-0. On the mound for Lynchburg was right-hander José Nájera, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Hillcats bumped their record to 71-42 with this win.

In the bottom of the third, António Herrera delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Lynchburg right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Hillcats in front, 2-0.

"José was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Lynchburg manager Nick Markakis.
