Pérez, Nationals March to 6-3 Victory
A 3-RBI performance from third baseman Jesús Pérez, who is tied for 9th in the CAR in doubles with 26, led the Potomac Nationals to a win over the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 6-3. The loss makes Myrtle Beach 61-65.

Pérez had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch curveball from Charlie Best, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Nationals a 6-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Pérez.

"No disrespect to the other team," said Potomac manager Cesar Martin. "But it's nice to get an easy win."
