Hein Helps Red Sox Win, 13-3, with Pair of Homers
The Salem Red Sox had no problem beating the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 13-3, at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium. Sílvio Hein led the way. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for Salem. Esteban Vázquez earned his 1st save in 1 chances. Salem now sits at 58-70, while Myrtle Beach falls to 62-66.

With Salem leading 10-3 in the bottom of the eighth, Hein came up to bat against Myrtle Beach pitcher Alfredo Limón. Hein hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Red Sox on top, 13-3.
