Hillcats Snatch Late-Game, 3-2 Win
The Lynchburg Hillcats had to overcome a good performance from Potomac pitcher Steve Strouse to claim a 3-2 win at Ed Smith Stadium. Strouse went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. With the win over Potomac, the Hillcats improved to 55-75.

The Hillcats got a clutch hit from first baseman António Becerra. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Hillcats.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Becerra.
