Nationals Pick Up 7-3 Win Against Lynchburg
The Potomac Nationals knocked off the Lynchburg Hillcats, 7-3, in Carolina League action at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. Potomac pitcher and Oaklawn-Sunview, Kansas, native Don Jensen had an outstanding performance. Edgardo Souza got the save, his 8th in 11 chances. Potomac is now 55-76, while Lynchburg is 83-48.

Jesús Pérez, who is tied for 7th in the CAR in doubles with 28, took Lynchburg hurler Bert Riggs deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run put the Nationals on top, 3-1. In all, Pérez had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"When Don is on, he can really move the ball around," said Potomac manager Cesar Martin.
