Espinoza Lifts Red Sox to 11-4 Triumph
Good production from designated hitter José Espinoza helped the Salem Red Sox topple the Winston-Salem Dash, 11-4. Espinoza was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Red Sox. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Red Sox.

Eric Thomas had a big 2-run double for the Red Sox in the top of the third inning. With Salem leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a forkball from 22-year old left-handed pitcher António Perales and swatted a double to left. It was his 27th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Red Sox ahead, 4-0.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Salem manager Jose Nieves.
