The Frederick Keys locked up a win at Harry Grove Stadium, knocking off the Potomac Nationals, 10-2. On the mound for Frederick was right-hander Dan Thompson. He played a major role in the triumph. The first-place Keys have won 11 in a row.

Elwiin Gelderblom hit a 2-run home run off Edgardo González in the bottom of the third, which put the Keys ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Gelderblom had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.

"Dan attacked hitters and trusted his stuff," said Frederick manager Whit Merrifield.
