7-5 Nationals Win over Giants Evens Season Record
Thanks in large part to first baseman Nick Castellanos, the Washington Nationals beat the San Francisco Giants, 7-5. Castellanos went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Washington pitcher Mike Adkins got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jim Olsen got the loss. Dominic Bingham wrapped it up, recording his 5th save.

Early in the game, Castellanos had a grand slam home run for Washington. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Nationals on top, 4-0.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Castellanos.

For the Giants, the loss makes them 7-13.
