Adams Lays Hammer Down in 3-1 Win
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Beloit Snappers and Peoria Chiefs.

Beloit Snappers starter Mike Adams turned in a top-notch performance against the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park. The result was a win for the Snappers, 3-1. Daniel Negrón earned the save, his 1st, for the Snappers.

Adams subdued the Peoria offense. The Beloit right-hander allowed a mere 2 hits over 8 innings, while fanning 11. He issued no free passes. His season record goes to 1-0 with the win.
