Timber Rattlers Squelch River Bandits Offense in Shutout Win
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers starter Chris Mack found his groove in his team's 5-0 win over the Quad Cities River Bandits. Mack got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 2 hits and walked 1 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs. With the loss, Quad Cities is 0-3.

Pat Weber had a big run-scoring double for the Timber Rattlers in the bottom of the second inning. With Wisconsin leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a slider from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Saucedo and swatted a double to left. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Timber Rattlers ahead, 2-0.

"Chris's as tough as he is talented," said Wisconsin manager Matt Walbeck.
