Timber Rattlers Jolt Chiefs, 6-4, with Late Rally
Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers defeated the Peoria Chiefs by the score of 6-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Ed Murray. Murray was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Timber Rattlers on the day. Wisconsin reliever Art Horton picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Israel Rodríguez absorbed the loss. Raúl Perea saved it for Wisconsin.

Dan Thompson went 1 for 3 with a walk for Wisconsin. The 18-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Israel Rodríguez. It was his 2nd walk of the season.

"I believe in our guys," said Wisconsin skipper Matt Walbeck. "I like the energy they're playing with."

The loss drops Peoria to 2-4.
