Loons 9-4 Winners Versus West Michigan
Great Lakes left fielder José Solís was a significant contributor in his team's 9-4 triumph over the West Michigan Whitecaps. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Loons. The Loons raised their record to 4-2.

Greg Bramblett had a big 2-run double for the Loons in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Great Lakes leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Edwin Brown and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Loons ahead, 6-3.
