Behind the bravura of second baseman Lou Wilson, the Lake County Captains topped the Dayton Dragons by the score of 9-7. Wilson went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Captains. Kade Saunders closed the game out for Lake County, earning his 1st save. Lake County goes to 6-3.

Had Luis Jiménez not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Jiménez hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 8-7, in favor of the Captains.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Wilson. "But I have better dreams after a win."
