Kane County Offense Jammed Up by Timber Rattlers
The Kane County Cougars had to reckon with Wisconsin Timber Rattlers hurler Ken Alford. Alford, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2022 draft, overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-1 Timber Rattlers triumph. The win puts Wisconsin at 7-2.

The 21-year old shortstop Mike Cole tried to rally his team in the top of the second inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and Kane County trailing 1-0, Cole hit a run-scoring single. But that was all she wrote for Kane County. "Cole had a nice at-bat," said manager . "Otherwise, we had a shortage of hits when it counted."
