Wisconsin turned a good performance from starting pitcher Dominic Crow into a 5-2 triumph over the Kane County Cougars at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. Crow yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 7, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-0. Léo Briand closed the game out for Wisconsin, earning his 1st save.

In the top of the seventh, Dan Albertson stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Cougars were trailing 5-0, but had the bases loaded. That's when Léo Briand made a terrific pitch and Albertson flied out. Gone was the dream of a Kane County comeback.

The win leaves Wisconsin with a record of 8-3.
