The Great Lakes Loons faced a tough opponent in Fort Wayne pitcher Liam Jarvis, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Dow Diamond by a final score of 7-1. Jarvis went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. The TinCaps, 7-8, continue their so-so start to the 2025 season.

Great Lakes right fielder Greg Bramblett helped the Loons go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Bramblett hit a run-scoring single off Fort Wayne pitcher Tim Roberts.

"I think it just wasn't our night," said Fort Wayne skipper Yunir Garcia.
