Dragons 3-2 Victors Over South Bend
Dayton turned a good effort from starter Bob Wolfe into a win over the South Bend Cubs at Fifth Third Field. The Dragons won the game, 3-2. Josh Means came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-2. Juan Sánchez collected his 6th save.

Dayton third baseman Ben Reid helped the Dragons go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Reid hit a run-scoring single off South Bend pitcher Mike Tillman.

"Bob worked through their lineup really well," said Dayton manager Manny Amador.

South Bend falls to 10-9.
