The Peoria Chiefs downed the Quad Cities River Bandits, 8-1, at Dozer Park. Chad Hughes led the way, going 3-for-3 for Peoria. Víctor Márquez was the winner. Over 5 innings, he yielded no runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 9 strikeouts. The setback makes the River Bandits 8-12.
