The Burlington Bees defeated the Clinton LumberKings by the score of 7-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Darrell Foster. Foster was 2 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Bees on the day. Picking up his 6th save was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Taylor. The victory makes Burlington 10-12.

Foster had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 changeup from Mike Kirby, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Bees a 5-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Foster.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Foster told the Burlington Observer.
