The Cougars grabbed a win, 6-5, at Philip B. Elfstrom Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Wisconsin pitcher Ken Alford. Alford went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Oliver Salcido was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Brad McLean. With the win, Kane County goes to 13-11.
