The Dayton Dragons beat the Beloit Snappers, 2-1. Dayton pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native António Lara led the way. Lara, now 4-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Juan Sánchez got credit for the save for Dayton. It was his 9th of the year.
