Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Greg Muse the Burlington Bees defeated the Great Lakes Loons, 10-1. The setback makes Great Lakes 17-16.

Les Talley had a big 2-run double for the Bees in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Burlington leading 3-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Phil Sparks and swatted a double to center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bees ahead, 5-1.

"It feels good to get this one," Talley told the Burlington Citizen.
