Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Timber Rattlers beat the Loons.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers picked up a win at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium, knocking off the Great Lakes Loons, 11-1. Starting pitcher Pat Slusher was a big reason why. In 8.1 innings, Slusher surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run.

Kieran Salinas came through for Wisconsin with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. The left fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 5 runs batted in.

"If you don't take any pitches off, you've got a chance to impact the game, and that's what we did," said Wisconsin skipper Matt Walbeck.

The Timber Rattlers improved their record to 12-23 with the win over Great Lakes.
