Dozer Park was the site of a competitive game between the Peoria Chiefs and Beloit Snappers.

Beloit Snappers starter Mike Adams pitched effectively against the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 4-2 win. Beloit now has a record of 20-18 with the win.

Beloit used a clutch at-bat from Tony Castro to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Snappers ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We're not winning games right now," said Peoria manager Phil Nevin. "But I'm not going to denigrate the effort by the guys."
