Wisconsin Coasts to 12-2 Win
|
The rain came, as predicted, but the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Quad Cities River Bandits were able to complete their ballgame.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers romped over the Quad Cities River Bandits, 12-2, at Modern Woodmen Park. Bob Richter led the way. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Wisconsin. The win puts Wisconsin at 17-26.
Early in the game, Richter had a grand slam home run for Wisconsin. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Timber Rattlers on top, 5-1.
"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Wisconsin manager Matt Walbeck.
