The home crowd had a good time watching the Akron RubberDucks and New Hampshire Fisher Cats get after it.

New Hampshire pitcher Raúl Sánchez had a large part in his team beating the Akron RubberDucks, 8-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The RubberDucks, now 6-9 this season, have struggled to play .500 ball.

In the bottom of the third, Kevin McInnis delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the New Hampshire second baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Fisher Cats in front, 8-3.

"The clubhouse can get insufferable after we lose, so I'm glad we pulled this one out today," Sánchez told the New Hampshire Daily.
