The Burlington Bees beat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, 7-2, at Community Field. Gilberto Biar, in particular, was impressive. He went 3-3 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Burlington is now 20-24, Wisconsin 20-24.

Burlington designated hitter Dave Conner contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 25th hit of the season and put the Bees ahead, 3-1.

"I really like what we did out there today," Biar said after the game.
