Tight Tilt Goes to Dragons, 2-1
The Dayton Dragons picked up a win at Fifth Third Field, taking down the West Michigan Whitecaps, 2-1. Starting pitcher Álex Trevino was a big reason why. Juan Sánchez saved it for Dayton. The setback makes West Michigan 32-15.

Eric Moore had a big run-scoring double for the Dragons in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Dayton leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a curveball from Sandy Lowe and swatted a double to right. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragons ahead, 2-0.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Moore.
