The Minnesota Twins beat the Chicago White Sox, 7-6. Minnesota pitcher and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, native Huascar Ynoa led the way. Jorge Fajardo closed it out for Minnesota, earning his 6th save. Chicago falls to 12-13.

Minnesota catcher Alex Martin contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 8th hit of the season and put the Twins ahead, 7-1.

Said Minnesota manager Robin Ventura: "Huascar came into the game mentally strong. He dominated."
