The Burlington Bees got a stellar performance from pitcher Angelo Tanguy, who handcuffed the Quad Cities offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Community Field. António Ramírez closed it out for Burlington, earning his 3rd save. Burlington raised its record to 29-22 with the win.

The Bees had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Burlington, with one out. Quad Cities, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Juan Ruíz dug in at the plate, but on a first pitch slider, he hit into a double play.
