Timber Rattlers Pick Up 7-5 Win Against Quad Cities
Timber Rattlers left fielder Gaylord O'Connor left his imprint on his team's 7-5 win over the Quad Cities River Bandits. O'Connor went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Wisconsin in the contest. Phil Castillo picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-3. Esteban Valdéz was tagged with the loss. Wisconsin is now 24-28, while Quad Cities is 26-26.

With Wisconsin trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, O'Connor hit a 2-run single off Quad Cities hurler Esteban Valdéz. It was the 57th hit of the season for O'Connor and put his team ahead, 2-1.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," O'Connor told the Wisconsin Bulletin.
